NIKOLATESLA FIT FLAP PROBLEM

Regarding the FLAP defect of the NikolaTesla Fit it is necessary to distinguish between 2 different problems:

  • The flap does not stay in the closed position, but tends to reopen –> defect related to the polarity of the magnets. The intervention is to be considered AS A WARRANTY. In the SAAM documentation there is a service bulletin with the operations to be carried out by the technician. This defect is complained of in the first installation.
  •  The flap glass does not open in the perpendicular position, but rotates more than 90° –> defect related to the flap fixing pin breakage. The work is to be considered UNDER WARRANTY. This defect is not complained of in the first installation.
